Sweet Tips to Clean a Bridal Dress

After the ceremony, no matter we want to preserve the wedding dress or donate it for charity, the first thing we need to do is cleaning. If your Amazing Wedding Dresses fabric is polyester, it's easy for you to clean it by hand-washing. Dry-cleaning couldn't remove water based substances such as perspiration. In that way, we need wet cleaning our dresses carefully.

There are several steps you should pay attention:

  1. Check out your wedding dress for any stains. What are the stains? Do you have enough cleaning items to remove that? Take care of the hemline. The train which sweeps the floor from aisle to church mostly is the dirtiest part of the dress.

  2. Keep the wedding dress main part out of water. Soak the hemline in sudsy water for several hours. Then, use a toothbrush and liquid to slightly brush the dirts on them.

  3. Turn the bodice inside out. Spray soap solution on the bodice and use toothbrush to clean the stains.

  4. Examine the outside of the gown and find the stains.

  5. Once you are pleased with the cleaning results, make a bathtub of war water and put the whole gown into it.

  6. Dry the dress by "line" drying instead of hanging. Since the weight of dress may destroy itself.

  7. When the dress has dried for a few hours, it's time to hang it.

  8. Press the dress. There are two ways for pressing your dress. One is using a dry-cleaner, the other is pressing it by yourself. If you pick the second method, you'd better wash and dry your ironing board firstly.
