Halloween Dress Up Games for Teenagers

Halloween is a fun holiday for children of all ages. However, once children reach their teen years, they may feel that dressing up is no longer fun. At Halloween parties for teens, it is easy to redirect them back into the spirit of fun and dress-up with these fun dress up games . Just make sure to have prizes for the winning teams. Scarecrow Relay This game is fun and can get quite chaotic, so be prepared. Have on hand a bunch of items that can be used to make up a scarecrow. Hats, straw, old flannel shirts and rope make a good start. You can add other materials to make the game more challenging. Divide the teens into two groups. Each group should have one volunteer to be the scarecrow. The job of the other players is to dress the scarecrow as quickly as possible, but one at a time. Each person is responsible for adding one item to the scarecrow, then racing back to the rest of the team to allow the next person to run to the scarecrow and add the next item. The first team to fully dress the scarecrow wins. Be sure to take pictures of this fun game. Mummy Wrap This game is similar to the scarecrow game. Teens are divided into teams of five to seven. Each team needs a volunteer to be the mummy. Team members are provided with rolls of toilet paper to dress their mummy. A time limit is set. The team that dresses its mummy the best during the time limit is the winner. Teens may want to play this game several times, changing the mummy each time. Guess the Costume After Halloween the previous year, gather up a bunch of cheap costume supplies in preparation for this game. Have the guests bring their old costumes from previous years as well. Make a list of famous characters that are easily recognizable such as presidents, cartoon characters or movie characters. Divide the teens into groups of three to five. Give each team a costume to re-create from the list. Participants must dress themselves like the costume on the list that they were given. Once everyone has dressed, the participants are judged to determine who succeeded at creating the most accurate costume. Costume Scavenger Hunt This game can be played at home for a simpler version or can be played as a roaming game throughout the city. Divide the teens into groups of five to seven. Each team is given a list of costumes to find and wear during the game. Teams must travel around to find the different costumes and try them on. Pictures are taken to prove that each team found the correct costume piece. This game works best if the items on the list are small such as vampire teeth, orange wig and cat-eye glasses. The First team to return with the completed list is the winner.
